WOODWARD CAMP 3, TAKE TWO

New Days, new ways…
Counting down days in Woodward is hard when you have just a few left until you go back home! So I had to use them wisely.
My riding on the few last days was what I’d like to call R2D2 riding. I was repeating tricks all day long. I did every trick tentimes in a row, and every time it had to be perfect or I’d have to start again from the beginning.
I did that because I wanted to get muscle memory for evach trick. So there were flipwhips, frontflips, 360 tailwhips, superman seatgrabs, downside whips, superflips… It wasn’t boring at all because I just bought my new GOpro Helmet Cam, and captured it all. Besides the small camera there was a DH Productions’ big one, and they were always there to help me. They filmed me with HDV camera professionally like they always do!

We filmed lifestyle and riding and the thing that you all where waiting for: YES! we filmed riding at Pastrana’s house where we spent my last day in the States and It was the best day ever .
The guys who made all this possible was my good friend Jim DeChamp “Nitro Circus crew member” (first guy on the planet that fronfliped FMX bike on dirt), and Don Hampton. Don picked me up in his pick-up and we went straight to MARYLAND where Jim and Pastrana live.

When we came there, the house was empty. No Travis around (but he’ll be there next time – at least we had a chance to ride his big-ass foampit. That place is amazing, it’s hard to describe, so here are a few pictures for you! You will get to see the riding soon when all the clips are put together in a short movie about my trip to USA/Woodward/Pastrana’s!

Next morning was fly-out day and I had to fly back home. The flight was short for me because I was sleeping the whole time. But when I landed in Zagreb, I was still tired. Too bad because the next day I had to drive to Vienna to compete in Vienna Air King. Came there late at night, couldn’t sleep because of jet lag and had to wake up early to go to training session for Vienna Air King.
But things didn’t go well… Practice just jumping over jumps finished bad. I came up short on first jump, went over my front wheel and fell flat on my back on the ground. My back was hurting and I was so tired
that I wasn’t able to continue.
Went home for an x-ray, luckily everything is OK and I will be back in week or two!
